Team Member

As well as preparing our great tasting products to the very highest of standards, you'll be the face of Greggs, greeting our loyal customers and providing the excellent customer service we're known for.

If you’re looking for variety and love being busy, you’re in the right place.

Our Team Members get involved with everything: serving customers from the till or behind the hot counter, managing the ovens, making fresh sandwiches, stocking the shelves, and ensuring that the shop looks clean, tidy, and presentable for our customers.

It really is about rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in, doing what needs to be done to make sure every customer feels welcome and valued and leaves our shops happy with their purchase.

And don’t worry if you haven’t got any food service or retail experience. As a Team Member, we’ll give you all the training you need when you join.

Supervisor

The role of a Supervisor is very much being the right-hand person to the Shop Manager, making sure our customers receive great products and a friendly service from a motivated team.

It’s a position with lots of responsibility, supporting the daily running and operation of the shop and the fantastic team, and taking on managerial duties for 60-80% of your shift.  Food safety, hygiene, shop standards, team training, and of course, the delivery of high quality, fresh and tasty products to our loyal customers will be your priorities. You’ll also serve our customers, seeing all their needs are met and that they’ll come back wanting more!

We’re looking for our Supervisors to have previous people/team management experience in a similar retail environment.

If you’re looking to progress your retail management career, this is an excellent opportunity to do so with a growing company. We’re always on the lookout for our next potential managers to help us open our new shops and we’ll support your development to get there.

Shop Manager

The heart and soul of the team - our Shop Managers lead the way in the smooth running of their shop. As such, you’ll develop and maintain high performing teams through recruitment, training, and engagement.

You’ll be continually improving the service your shop provides, ensuring excellent brand standards, and identifying and driving sales opportunities by chatting with colleagues and customers alike. You’ll review reports and procedures to maximise shop profit. You’ll be the face of your shop and a brand ambassador for Greggs.

We’re always on the lookout for great shop leaders, who have previous food retail management experience in a similar environment.

We’re a growing business with big ambitions, so if progressing a career in retail management is what you’re looking for we can support you. Whether it’s getting involved in new processes and product trials, supporting new shop openings or joining our future Area Manager development programmes, there are lot of opportunities for you to take.
