At Greggs, we stand out from the crowd because we make our great quality products ourselves and love to create new things that will excite our customers. We’re always looking for new ways to be more efficient and to minimise our impact on the environment, while supporting shop growth.
With 14 manufacturing and distribution sites across the UK, we’ve dozens of interesting roles that might be right up your street.
Whether you join us as an Operative, Team Leader or Supervisor in one of our manufacturing or distribution sites, you’ll play a key role in making and packing some of the nation’s much-loved products.
As an Operative you’ll play a major part in making and packing some of the nation’s much-loved products. You’ll have a passion for quality and follow all the correct processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made and our customers are satisfied. Your role will involve working with a great, close-knit team, under pressure in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Some of our supply sites operate on a 24-hour shift operation so there’s often a variety of shift options available.
What’s more, you don’t need any specific experience to join us as an Operative, we’ll give you all the training you need when you join.
Our Team Leaders oversee a small section of the shift operation. You’ll focus on targets and results as well as producing great food. You’ll roll your sleeves up and work with your team – mixing ingredients, baking food and slicing, packaging, picking and loading products, depending on which department you work in. You’ll have a keen eye on everyone's ability to follow food hygiene and quality procedures, not to mention health and safety guidelines.
This is a great opportunity if you're looking to develop a career within manufacturing and logistics. Ideally, you'll have had some previous experience in a similar environment, but don't worry, we'll provide you with all the training you need to do a fantastic job.
Our Supervisors are an essential ingredient in the smooth day-to-day running of manufacturing and distribution sites. On hand to give direction to Team Leaders and working closely with Managers, you'll ensure results are delivered and success achieved. You’ll help to create an environment of continuous improvement to make sure we remain competitive, with plenty of opportunities to directly influence the success of the operation on site.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to progress their career with a growing and innovative company. Our supply sites are forward thinking and innovative and we're always on the lookout for candidates with great supervisory experience within a similar environment. We'll arm you with all the information, knowledge and training you'll need to progress in your career.
Our manufacturing and distribution sites use automated and semi-automated lines to produce great products as efficiently as possible. We’re always on the lookout for skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our friendly and welcoming teams across the UK and continue their career with Greggs. You’ll be a key player in developing engineering improvements to an ever-changing environment and reacting to problems daily to make sure we can keep our shops supplied with the best products and our amazing customers happy with their favourites!
Ask any of our HGV Drivers about their role and they’ll tell you it isn't just about deliveries. They play a vital part in ensuring our shops are fully stocked and that we’re able to deliver many of the nation's favourites to our loyal customers.
Whether it’s as an HGV Class 1 Driver providing bulk deliveries and collections to and from our network of sites throughout the UK, or as an HGV Class 2 Driver carrying out multi-drop deliveries to our shops, you’ll be driving one of our modern fleet of refrigerated HGVs, fitted with the latest technology and safety features, such as telematics and vehicle cameras.
